Creative Wedding Guest Book: Wall of Wishes
November 14, 2011
Last Friday, Preston blogged about his recent speaking engagement at the Creme de la Creme Grand Wedding Showcase in Vancouver. He was especially touched by a wall of inspirational messages they made for him. Guests at the showcase got their picture taken and posted on a wall; they then had the chance to write a brief message beneath their photo sharing how Preston has inspired them. Pretty cool, right?
We think it would also be pretty great as a unique wedding guest book. Ask someone to take Polaroid pictures of your guests as they arrive at your reception, and then let guests write well wishes for you and your groom beneath their photo. Or, even better, ask guests to write how your relationship has inspired them!
The best part is that since you’re displaying the photos all night, your guests can check back throughout the reception to see other people’s pictures and messages.
Just remember at the end of the night to have someone take the photos down and tuck them away for you — you can put all the photos in an album when you get back from your honeymoon!
Check out our post on floating lanterns, which are also called wish lanterns and would make a magical addition to your wedding.
