Happy Chinese New Year!
We’ve long suspected that macarons are going to become the new cupcakes. They’re just as easy to eat and come in every flavor and color imaginable — perfect for weddings!
But we’ve never seen macarons quite this creative before. These French macarons are filled with jackfruit-flavored buttercream and are made to look like the red paper lanterns that are popular Chinese New Year decorations. Clever, no?
