Late last month, we wrote about this beautiful “something blue” engagement ring, and our lovely reader, Lara Goldman of Romantic Travel Belize, left a comment about her own similar ring.
Naturally, we sent her an email asking (okay, begging) for her to share some photos. And she did! Isn’t her ring stunning?
Lara had this to say about her ring:
“My husband and I designed the ring and picked the stones. Finding a matching pair of very high quality sapphires was very difficult. The diamond was easy; the sapphires were hard. I lived in Philadelphia at the time, which has the oldest jewelers’ row in the country, and it was still tough! BUT — totally totally worth it. I still love my ring as much now, 10 years later, as the day he picked it up, got on one knee and proposed. And, of course, isn’t that the point?”
Yep, we agree, that’s exactly the point! Thanks so much for sharing, Lara.

This is the same ring Chandler proposes to Monica with on Friends. I love how some designs are simply timeless! Hope to get this ring for myself someday!!!!

My fiance surprised me with a diamond and sapphire ring as well! Its the best, my ring is classic, unique and elegant. He designed it with a jeweler. It has three large stones, princess cut and the band is imbedded with diamonds and sapphire as well. Simply the best type of engagement ring!
