How spectacular is this collection by Amy Friend?
Friend alters vintage photographs allowing light to pass through them. As she points out, “photographs are made possible with light [and] … I aimed to give the photographs back to the light, hence the title of the series, Daré alla Lucé, an Italian phrase used to describe the moment of birth.”
We’d love to see her technique applied to a romantic black and white wedding portrait!
