Rivaled only by Marilyn Monroe herself, Brigitte Bardot was considered the ultimate “sex goddess” in the 1950′s and 60′s.  Known mostly for her smokey eyes and school girl pout, she maintained an effortlessly chic style and carried herself in a way that was both playful and smart.  While still a celebrated leading lady, Ms. Bardot abruptly quit movie-making in the 1970′s and devoted her efforts to animal rights.
