Wedding Bouquets and Bridal Lipsticks

Finding the right lipstick color and shade for your wedding day is no easy task. As the bride, you want something flattering, easy to wear and appropriate for your wedding color palette.

Check out this lipstick and bridal bouquet pairing chart to make your search a little easier:

1. For a red color scheme, try a rich lip tint or stain that will stay on all day: Tarte for True Blood (inspired by the hit show on HBO)

2. If your wedding color is hot pink, go edgy and bold: Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in shades like “Adrenaline” or “Crush”

3. Baby pink is delicate and romantic, so try some shimmer: Dior Addict Lip Glow

4. A yellow bouquet is all the bright and cheery you need, so we recommend a shiny neutral lip gloss to keep things balanced: Michael Kors Rollerball

5. Blue can be tricky, because pinks and reds can clash. Try a clear gloss: LipFusion Lip Plump

6. If your bouquet is peach, go for a matte lipstick one shade darker than your flowers: Lorac Lipstick in “It Girl”

7. For a neutral or beige wedding color palette, a nude tinted lip gloss is best: Stila Lip Glaze in “Amaretto” or “Angel Food”
